Braver Angels Workshop: Skills for Bridging the Divide
You are invited to register and attend a workshop: Skills for Bridging the Divide, April 29, 2023.

In our current polarized political environment, many people dislike and avoid political conversations with family, neighbors, or coworkers whose opinions differ from their own. We worry, rightly so, that any attempts at political discussions will devolve into arguments and acrimony, and result in hurt feelings or anger and even damage the relationship. By participating in this workshop, you will learn skills for having respectful conversations that clarify differences, search for common ground, and affirm the importance of the relationship.
The workshop is designed to give participants a safe environment to practice these skills, both how to listen for deeper understanding and effectively tell your story so it can be understood. This 2 and ½ hour workshop is guided by highly trained moderators. This same workshop is being conducted twice on April 29th. You need only attend the morning or the afternoon session to reap the benefits.
